why

how will it be used?

by family, by teachers, by students, by others interested in compiling family history in a format that lends itself to group participation, constant growth (flexibility), high quality display of precious family images, multiple voices layered on top of each other in the telling of stories hopefully as an opportunity to learn something new about oneself through the further understanding of one's family. my biggest concern is that this web project is a living object that can become an active part of the lives of the people it was made about, and in turn will serve as an example for others (art teachers) of how technology can be used in the production of narrative art.
