it is snowing hard here today. we will leave
here tonight for dubuque on the bus. it is
wonderful here in chicago at christmas time.
everything has been perfect - we saw "the desert
song" opera. it was swell. alas, all kinds of
shows. we are at the berkshire hotel - the only one
we could get. it is fairly nice comfortable place
within a few blocks of the loop. harriet &
